    The Financial Services Authority (the FSA) varied the Part IV permission of Shrine Co-operative Credit Union Limited Shrine) of Unit 7, The Tay Building, 2a Wrentham Avenue, London, NW10 3HA by removing its regulated activity of accepting deposits on 18 July 2005. On 10 May 2006, the FSA further varied Shrine's Part IV permission by imposing requirements on Shrine so that it was not permitted to: make new loans or otherwise vary the terms of any existing loans, redeem any members' shares, repay any deposits, or make any payments without prior approval from the FSA, other than a specified allowance for ordinary business expenses. On 5 December 2007, the FSA removed the requirements imposed on Shrine's Part IV permission and reinstated its regulated activity of accepting deposits.
