Limits on what they may do

  • On 1 June 2026, the Firm agreed to a variation to a voluntary requirement in effect since 3 November 2025. The variation allows the Firm to onboard 300 customers to its business savings account over a 3-month period.
    Requirements Restriction on onboarding new clients 1. From 1 June 2026 and continuing for a period of three consecutive calendar months thereafter to 31 August 2026 (“the relevant period”), the Firm must not onboard more than 300 customers to its business savings account (“the relevant account”). 2. Upon expiry of the relevant period, the Firm must cease all further onboarding to the relevant account pending the outcome of effectiveness testing. Reporting requirements 3. Within 3 business days from the last business day of each calendar month during the relevant period, the Firm must submit to the Authority a written report setting out the number of customers it onboarded to the relevant account during that calendar month. 4. The report must be submitted in a form and manner agreed with the Authority. Effective date 5. The Requirements in this application are to take effect immediately on its acceptance by the Authority and notification of such to the Firm by email. 6. The Requirements will stay in effect unless and until varied or cancelled by the Authority (either on application of the Firm or of the Authority’s own volition), and the Firm has demonstrated to the Authority’s satisfaction that it has addressed the concerns the Authority has communicated to it.
