    Restriction on new and current business 1. The Firm must refrain from carrying on any new business and from accepting any new electronic money (“e-money”) from existing customers, whether by way of issuance, top-up, or otherwise, pursuant to its registration as an Small Authorised Electronic Money Institution under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (the “EMRs”), except with the prior written consent of the Financial Conduct Authority (the “FCA”). 2. Without prejudice to paragraph 1 above, and for the avoidance of doubt, the Firm shall not, without the prior written consent of the FCA: a. onboard any new customers; b. issue any new e-money on behalf of existing customers; c. accept any new customer funds; or d. onboard or register any new payment service users. 3. For the avoidance of doubt, the Firm shall continue to permit existing customers to redeem their e-money and withdraw funds in the ordinary course of business. Preservation of records 4. The Firm must secure and preserve all records and/or information (physical or electronic) relating to its services from its systems in their original form, or in a copy proved to be identical to the source material. These must be retained in a form and at a location within the United Kingdom, to be notified to the FCA within five business days of the Effective Date, such that they can be provided to the FCA, or to a person named by the FCA, promptly on its request. Notification requirements 5. The Firm’s Chief Executive Officer shall provide written confirmation to the FCA by 3:00 pm each Friday (excluding public holidays) beginning on the First Friday after the Effective Date, confirming the Firm’s compliance with these Requirements. Duration 6. The Requirements in this application take effect immediately on its acceptance by the FCA and notification of such to the Firm by email (“Effective Date”). The Requirements will stay in effect until the FCA is satisfied that they can be lifted.
