The Financial Conduct Authority (the FCA) has imposed a financial penalty of £99,200 on Infinox Capital Limited (Infinox). The reason for this action is because between 1 October 2022 and 31 March 2023, the FCA considers that Infinox breached Article 26(1) of MiFIR by failing to submit any transaction reports to the FCA in relation to single-stock contract-for-difference transactions executed through one of its corporate brokerage accounts. Infinox admitted liability for this breach and agreed to settle, qualifying for a 30% discount.
