The Firm must not, without the prior written consent of the FCA, onboard any new GIA and ISA clients, or accept any new contributions into any product provided by the Firm. The Firm is also only permitted to onboard certain SIPP clients.
Requirements 1. The Firm must not, without the prior written consent of the FCA, onboard any new General Investment and Individual Savings Account clients, or accept any new contributions into any product provided by the Firm. The Firm is also only permitted to onboard new Self-Invested Personal Pension clients where funding is derived solely from pension-to-pension transfers. Notification Requirements 2. The Firm must, within 5 business days of the Effective Date, publish in a prominent place on its website, as well as on any other communication channels through which the Firm ordinarily engages with clients, a notice setting out the terms and effects of these Requirements in a form to be agreed in advance with the FCA. 3. By no later than 5pm of the fifth business day of these Requirements taking effect the Firm must provide written confirmation to the FCA that it is complying with these Requirements. 4. The Firm must immediately notify the FCA if at any point it is not or may not be able to comply with these Requirements. Publication 5. The Requirements will be published by the FCA against the Firm’s entry on the Financial Services Register. Effective date 6. The Requirements in this application are to take effect immediately on their acceptance by the FCA and notification of such to the Firm by email (“the Effective Date”). 7. The Requirements will stay in effect unless and until varied or cancelled by the FCA (either on application of the Firm or of the FCA’s own volition).
