Nationwide Employment Lawyers Ltd (“NEL” or the “Firm”) hereby applies to the Financial Conduct Authority (the “Authority”) under section 55L of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 for the imposition by the Authority of the following requirement on its Part 4A permission (the “Requirement”) as set out in the schedule below, with effect from the date defined at paragraph 2 (the “Effective Date”). SCHEDULE NEL agrees to the following requirement: Requirement 1. Simon Armstrong will supervise Damian McCarthy in his conduct of every case. This will include, but not be limited to, oversight of client paperwork and ensuring all client communications are handled through the Firm’s central management systems. Effective Date 2. The Requirement is to take effect immediately on its approval by the Authority. Notification of that approval will be communicated by the Authority via email to simon@armstrongslaw.co.uk. The Requirement will remain in place from that date (the “Effective Date”) until the Authority agrees to vary or cancel the Requirements following successful application by the Firm. Recording the Requirement 3. The Firm consents to the Requirement being recorded in the Firm’s entry on the Authority’s Financial Services Register.
