If TPA wishes to assist any consumers who may intend to complain or claim redress in relation to any financial service or product: a) TPA must ensure that such consumers are provided with information on how to complain or claim, including information about how they can themselves refer a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) or claim from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) free of charge; b) TPA must inform such consumers that they can submit complaints or claims themselves directly to FOS or FSCS without using the services of a CMC and without having to pay any fees; and c) The above information must be supplied to consumers in writing, prominently and clearly.
