Voluntary Requirements
1. TheWealthPoint Management Limited (“WealthPoint” or the “Firm”) is required to abide by a Deed Poll executed by it dated 19122024 (the “Deed Poll”) in relation to specified clients listed in an Annex to the Deed Poll. Under this Deed Poll WealthPoint accepts liability and responsibility for regulated activities and services carried on by the firm which previously carried out regulated services and activities in relation to those clients listed in the Annex (the “Previous Firm”). 2. WealthPoint will not onboard or otherwise advise any additional clients currently or formerly advised by the Previous Firm (the “Additional Client(s)”) without the Authority’s prior written consent. 3. WealthPoint will, if the Authority gives such prior written consent, amend the Deed Poll to include the names and details of all Additional Client(s) to those set out in the schedule to the original Deed Poll. The amended Deed Poll must be re-executed prior to the Firm engaging in any business with or for such Additional Client(s). 4. In addition, WealthPoint will not enter into any agreements in relation to future movements of any clients (including, for the avoidance of doubt, any Additional Client(s)), by gift or sale, without the Authority’s prior written consent. Without prejudice to the Authority’s absolute discretion, it shall be a condition to the provision of such prior written consent that WealthPoint ensures that, to the satisfaction of the Authority, the firm receiving or acquiring the clients assumes liability and responsibility in relation to regulated activities and services carried on by WealthPoint for or in relation to such clients. Such assumption of liability and responsibility shall be on substantially the same terms as the Deed Poll. 5. WealthPoint is required to have 100% of its client files independently checked pre-sale. WealthPoint may apply to have this requirement removed with effect no earlier than after a period of six months post-authorisation. Effective date 6. The requirements in this application are to take effect immediately upon the Firm becoming authorised and upon their acceptance by the Authority, as notified to the Firm via email. 7. These requirements will remain in effect until the Authority approves an application by WealthPoint to have these requirements removed, having demonstrated to the Authority’s satisfaction that it is continuing to satisfy Threshold Conditions in relation to all the regulated activities for which it has Part 4A permission.
